Our Story
Simply Gourmet was founded in 2008 by Culinary Institute of America graduate Michael Polasek with a simple goal: to provide clients with great food, experienced guidance, and a team they can count on.
Over the years, the company has grown while remaining grounded in the same hands-on, personal approach. We believe successful events are built on thoughtful preparation, honest communication, dependable service, and food that guests genuinely enjoy.
Today, we’re a full-service catering company serving weddings, corporate and nonprofit events, social celebrations, and private gatherings throughout the Hudson Valley. We’ve built our reputation largely through client referrals, repeat business, and lasting relationships with local venues and event professionals.
